Job Description

Purpose:- Manage and improve the planning and implementation processes of the Media Department
1. Role Description
Improve effectiveness and efficiency of media-expenditure
Recommend clutter-breaking ideas to improve the impact of brand communication
Interact with Brand managers to understand their Marketing/media Briefs and in response co-create strong media plans with Media Agency
Interface with all media agencies /partners/channels /houses etc. and consolidate (and correctly-communicate) relevant information
Stay updated on competition's Media Activity and Industry Trends that can help improve marketing actions
2. Managing Points
Plan and execute media strategy for each campaign
Optimize media expenditure both internally and on vendor rate-inflation
Enhance print campaign effectiveness and ensure savings/upgrades/ value-additions
Generate and maintain MIS and analysis on industry spends
Special projects to drive innovation, best practice adoption and technology adoption.
At least 3 years of (recent) media-agency experience with a strong understanding of TV and Print Planning and implementation.
Exposure to outdoor, cinema, radio planning will be an added advantage
Ability to articulate and communicate well is a must.
Must possess strong knowledge of Media Fundamentals.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of Digital Media planning is an added advantage.
Must have some understanding of the various functions of marketing and how they all fit together.

Salary: INR 7,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A.
