Job Description

Manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies.
Maintains accurate records. Creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts.
Reporting risk of bad debts & provisions accordingly
Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency.
Supports financial planning by forecasting cash.
Critical Inputs to Treasury in terms of Funds Available
Updates receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
Maintains financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
